Frequently asked questions

The questions gymnastics families ask most, answered plainly.

What is Yorra?

Yorra does the recruiting research gymnastics families don't have time to do. It pulls roster openings, athletic fit, school engagement, and your own recruiting log into one place, personalized to your gymnast. The research stops living in twelve browser tabs and a group text.

Gymnasts are told to research every school on their list. The current recruits, the transfers, the lineup depth, the events losing seniors, the athletic fit, the openings by class year. That work takes hours a family doesn't have, on top of school and training and everything else.

Yorra does that research for you and keeps it current. You see who's recruited, who transferred, where roster projections suggest openings, how your gymnast fits against athletes at each school, and which schools are engaging with what you send them. It's personalized to your gymnast, so no two Yorra dashboards look the same.

The hours a family spends chasing scores, rosters, and schedules? Yorra spends them for you. And every Yorra account is different because every gymnast is. Yours is built around her scores, her events, her target list. The athlete drives it.

Who is Yorra for?

Families of Level 9 and Level 10 gymnasts working through the DI, DII, or DIII recruiting process, from freshman year through commitment.

Yorra is built for the family, the athlete and her parents. Whether or not you work with an independent recruiter or a club coach, Yorra is the same complete platform. The research, the fit picture, the engagement tracking, the prep work all live with you.

Is Yorra for DI, DII, or DIII?

All three. Roster openings, athletic fit, and school engagement work the same way across divisions. The schools and the math change, the surfaces don't. Filter and compare across divisions inside the platform.

I already work with a recruiter. Do I need Yorra?

Yes. Yorra works well alongside a recruiter. It doesn't compete with one and doesn't replace one.

Families with recruiters use Yorra as the analytical foundation their recruiter meetings sit on. The roster math, the fit picture, the school engagement data, the lineup analysis, and soon the personalized prep briefs, it's all in one place, personalized to your gymnast, ready before every call. Athletes walk into those calls with better questions and sharper context. The conversation gets more valuable because the research is already done.

Recruiters who've talked to families using Yorra say the same thing: their best work happens when the family shows up prepared. Yorra makes that easier.

Families without a recruiter get the exact same Yorra experience. The research, the fit analysis, the engagement tracking, the log, the prep tool when it lands, all of it, personalized to your gymnast. Yorra is complete on its own.

Either way, you save time. And time is the thing gymnastics families don't have.

How much does Yorra cost?

$29 a month. First month free. No annual contract, cancel anytime, one flat price.

How does Yorra get its data?

Yorra pulls together the recruiting information families need to make good decisions: team rosters, score records, roster history over time, and the click activity you generate inside Yorra. Everything about your gymnast (meetings, notes, log entries) is yours, and Yorra never shares family data with schools, coaches, or third parties.

On top of that, Yorra runs analytical work you won't find anywhere else in gymnastics: athletic fit modeling, the school engagement model, lineup and fit analysis, roster projection analysis, and click activity tracking on the trackable links you create in Yorra. Prep, coming soon, extends that layer, generating personalized deep-dive prep briefs for every coach call and campus visit, built from your gymnast's data and cross-NCAA gymnastics insights. That analytical layer is what turns information into a personal recruiting picture.

When should we start using Yorra?

The families who get the most out of Yorra start in the freshman-year window, when the openings map for their grad class is still forming and there's time to shape the target list. Sophomore and junior year work well too. The log, the engagement data, and the athletic fit history get more valuable the more of your gymnast's journey they hold.

What features does Yorra have?

Yorra is organized around what a gymnastics family actually does in a recruiting week. Here's what's inside:

  • Home. Personalized insights based on your recruiting data, your journey, and your activity. Every family's home page is different because it's built around your gymnast.
  • Live Feed. The latest activity across your recruiting: emails, replies, meetings, camps, and school engagement, every school interaction, in one running timeline.
  • Actions. What you need to stay on top of, so nothing falls through.
  • Worth a Look. Schools you may have missed that fit your gymnast athletically. A unique-to-Yorra insight that surfaces programs matching her athletic profile but not yet on your list.
  • Your schools. Each school gets a card on your home page with the overview at a glance, then a full School Hub with academic fit, all activity, estimated openings, athletic fit, visits offered by the school, lineup data, portal data, and click activity, all specific to that program.
  • Engagement. Every school interaction with your trackable links: who clicked what, when, and how often. Full history, all in one place.
  • Athletic Fit. Where your gymnast lands against recruited athletes at every DI, DII, and DIII program. Four lenses: same career stage, full Level 10 career, filtered by grad year, and same class at the specific school. This is the time-intensive, valuable research unique to Yorra.
  • Openings. Estimated roster openings across every DI, DII, and DIII program, calculated by working backwards from your gymnast's first NCAA season through three years of roster data. See which schools have the most room to bring in your grad year.
  • Create a Link. Send trackable video links to schools. See who clicks.
  • Portal. The latest transfer portal activity across DI, DII, and DIII gymnastics. Sort and search by school, season, or your target list to see who's moving where.
  • Lineup. Deep-dive stats on every team's lineup by event. Sort by class year to see what events graduate and where lineup gaps are forming.
  • Prep (coming soon). A fully personalized deep-dive prep tool for coach calls, official visits, and unofficial visits. Uses your data, your gymnast's inputs, and cross-NCAA gymnastics insights to help her walk in prepared. Whether or not you work with a recruiter, Prep gets her ready.

Do coaches see our Yorra account?

No. Your Yorra account is private to your family. Coaches only see what you send them (a trackable link, an email, a video URL), the same as any other outreach. The analytical work Yorra does for you stays with you.

Do you have an app?

Yorra runs on the web at app.useyorra.com, designed mobile-first so it works the same on your phone or your laptop. Most families use it on their phone during the day and their laptop for deeper research sessions.

How do we get started?

Create an account at useyorra.com. First month is free, no card required to start. Add your gymnast, and Yorra starts building her personalized recruiting picture.

Can multiple family members use Yorra?

Yes. You can grant access to your gymnast plus parents or guardians. You choose at onboarding.

Multi-athlete family access (siblings in the same account) is on the roadmap and coming soon.

How is Yorra different from other recruiting platforms?

Most recruiting platforms give you a dashboard and then ask you to do all the research yourself. They look modern, pull in some fields, and leave the athlete to figure out who's a fit, where the openings are, and which schools are actually engaging. That's a heavy lift on top of school and training.

Yorra does the analytical work first, then shows it to you. Four things make that different:

Athletic Fit modeling built for gymnastics. Yorra compares your gymnast against the last two prior recruiting classes at every DI, DII, and DIII program, and against every committed recruit in her own class at each school. Four lenses: same career stage, full Level 10 career, filtered by grad year, and same class at the specific school. This is the time-intensive, valuable research unique to Yorra.

A working school engagement model. Yorra tracks who's clicking, who's trending, who's engaging, and who's gone quiet. You see momentum as it happens, not weeks later when a coach finally responds.

Roster projections and lineup analysis. Yorra calculates estimated openings by class year and event, and reads lineup depth to show you where the actual seats are, not where the marketing says they should be.

All of it, personalized to your gymnast. Every dashboard is different because every gymnast is different. No two Yorra accounts look the same.

Most other tools stop at the dashboard. Yorra keeps going into the insights and decisions the dashboard is supposed to help you make. That's the difference: Yorra doesn't just show the data. It helps you decide what to do about it.
